Halle Jørn Hanssen is an experienced journalist who has previously worked as a reporter for NRK in Africa. He has also worked in NUPI and NORAD (Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation), and he has previously held the position as general secretary of Norwegian People's Aid. Monday 23 of march, he will give a lecture about Sudan, the peace process and its consecuences.
Halle Jørn Hanssen will also focus his lecture on the topic of freedom of speech in Southern Sudan, and he will inform about the work of Norwegian People's Aid in the region.
The lecture will be held in English, and it is open to everyone free of charge. After the lecture, you will be able to ask questions.
